Is Larry Crowne 1 Getting Shut Out at the Oscars Actually Great News?
Yesterday, Crownies all over the world were disappointed when the Academy Award nominations were announced, and their beloved Larry Crowne 1 received zero nods. That’s right, not even a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Wilmer Valderrama.
But, there is cause for excitement upon further analysis. Not nominating Larry Crowne 1 for any Oscars is a sure sign that the Academy is waiting for the trilogy (or quintilogy as many hope/predict) to complete before showering the films with awards ala The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
So, buck up, Crownies, Albert Wolsky’s costume design will eventually get the recognition it deserves!
